How a picture could save you writing a thousand words

The purpose of this chapter is to demonstrate the APT planning system in action. My intention is to show you that business planning can be simple, fast and even fun.

Before I start this chapter, a comment on case studies and confidentiality.

As I explain the steps involved in creating APT style business or project plans, I have one goal in mind. I want you to think to yourself “yes! – I understand that idea and I can see how I could use it to my advantage”.

To help achieve this goal I will give you lots of practical and illustrated examples.
In most cases the examples I use will be based on the real life planning situation of my clients or my own businesses.

For my clients and me this raises a confidentiality issue.

To handle this confidentiality issue I will change names and other specific information that could compromise confidentiality.
