A demonstration of Visual business
Planning - continued
The APT method of planning is very visual. Wherever possible, your ideas
and supporting information are represented on a visual ‘blueprint’.
The goal is for you to be able to see the complete workings of your
project, business, organization or business empire
― on one sheet of
paper!
But what about the details . . .
No matter how simple we can make planning, the plan must have some way
to handle the action steps that will be needed to make it happen.
In this example you will see how the big-picture of “WHAT” you wish to
achieve can be simply ‘married’ to the specific “HOW” details.
Separating the WHAT from the HOW
You will see that we handle the “WHAT” first – and the “HOW” later.
The purpose of the following example is to illustrate how one company
used the APT planning method.
