Linear planning is useful as the very last step of the planning process,
but in my opinion it’s usually a frustrating way to start planning.
With the APT method of planning, determining meaningful goals or objectives is an
integral part of the planning process. And it’s simple to do - it's
almost automatic.

It also works well to get clarity when different people have different ideas on what the
plan should achieve. So what's the basis of the APT method?
