Business Planning - Goals & Objectives Made Simpler Continued

Jargon

To get started I need to handle one piece of jargon.

The term “object oriented” is computer jargon. It's a technique for simplifying the design of complex computer applications.

Normally I would resist the use of jargon, but if you will trust me for a short period I think you will see the simplicity value it has.

A working definition: For now, let me give you a simple definition of what I mean by the term “Object Oriented” and in particular the word “OBJECT”.

In the APT system, whenever you see the term “object” you can replace it with the word ‘thing’ or even ‘thingy’.

An (APT) “OBJECT” is any ‘thing’ that the human mind can think of.  Later I will expand this definition a little. But for now let’s keep it simple.

The benefit of thinking and planning with 'objects' is that it will help shift your mind away from linear and activity thinking.
