The APT Basic Method

The APT Basic Method has three simple steps plus one optional step.

To illustrate these, let me walk you through a quick plan that was created in under an hour by a participant in one of my APT seminar/workshops. I'll keep this explanation simple:

Jim H. works in a marketing role for a specialist building supply company. Six months ago they acquired a smaller competitor.

Jim was given the job of organising an upgrade of the company’s website.

The existing website has been up for two years and Jim's boss feels that it does not fully express the true value the company is capable of delivering.

The website also needed to be expanded to include the new products and services that the acquisition brought about.

The next few pages describe the steps Jim followed to plan the website upgrade.
